Israel & Jordan Journey

DAY 2

Day 2 – Arrival in Jordan

Welcome to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan! Upon arrival in Amman, transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight rest.

DAY 3

Day 3 – Wadi Rum Desert Experience

Travel south into the ancient lands once associated with the Nabataeans. Visit the Wadi Rum Visitors Center before boarding open-top jeeps for an unforgettable desert adventure.

Enjoy traditional Bedouin tea in a desert tent, with an optional camel ride available. Continue to your hotel in Aqaba or Petra for the evening.

DAY 4

Day 4 – Petra & The King’s Highway

Explore the breathtaking ancient city of Petra. Walk through the narrow Siq and emerge before the magnificent Treasury (El Khazneh), carved from rose-red rock.

Discover hundreds of tombs, temples, and carved facades that showcase the brilliance of this Nabataean capital.

Travel north along the historic King’s Highway, viewing the region near Machaerus—traditionally associated with John the Baptist. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

Day 5 – Madaba, Mount Nebo & Tel Aviv

Begin in Madaba, renowned for its Byzantine mosaics. At St. George’s Church, view the earliest surviving mosaic map of the Holy Land.

Ascend Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land. Take in sweeping views across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

Cross into Israel and continue to the Tel Aviv area. Enjoy free time along the Mediterranean before overnight in Tel Aviv.

DAY 6

Day 6 – Caesarea, Megiddo & Nazareth

Arrive at Caesarea Maritima, where Peter shared the Gospel with the Gentiles. Explore the Roman theater, hippodrome, aqueduct, and archaeological remains.

Travel through Mount Carmel to Megiddo, overlooking the Valley of Armageddon.

Visit Nazareth, including Nazareth Village, a vivid recreation of first-century life. Dinner and overnight along the Sea of Galilee (three nights).

DAY 7

Day 7 – Northern Galilee & Sea of Galilee

Explore Tel Dan Nature Reserve and Caesarea Philippi, both rich in biblical history.

Return to the Sea of Galilee for a St. Peter’s fish lunch. Visit the preserved first-century “Jesus Boat” and enjoy a peaceful boat ride with Scripture and reflection.

Conclude the day in Magdala, hometown of Mary Magdalene.

DAY 8

Day 8 – Capernaum, Chorazin & Jordan River

Visit Capernaum, Jesus’ ministry base in Galilee, and Chorazin, known for its basalt synagogue and “Seat of Moses.”

Enjoy panoramic views from Mount Arbel.

DAY 9

Day 9 – Beit She’an, Jordan Valley & Jerusalem

Travel south to Beit She’an (ancient Scythopolis), one of Israel’s most impressive archaeological sites.

Pass Jericho, often called the world’s oldest city, and visit Qasr al-Yahud, traditionally associated with Jesus’ baptism.

Experience a Genesis-style dinner in Abraham’s Tent before ascending to Jerusalem. From the Mount of Olives, take in your first view of the Old City before visiting the Garden of Gethsemane. Overnight in Jerusalem (three nights).

DAY 10

Day 10 – Masada, Ein Gedi & The Dead Sea

Ride a cable car to Masada, the mountaintop fortress overlooking the Dead Sea.

Visit Ein Gedi, where David once sought refuge, and explore Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.

Enjoy the unforgettable experience of floating in the Dead Sea.

DAY 11

Day 11 – Jerusalem: In the Footsteps of Jesus

Begin at the Western Wall and explore the Rabbinical Tunnels, revealing stones from the Second Temple period.

Visit the Southern Wall Excavations, the Pool of Bethesda, and Church of St. Anne.

Walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Conclude at Garden Tomb, celebrating the Resurrection with communion and praise.

Day 12 – Departure

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight home.
