Welcome to the jewel of the Mediterranean. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for dinner and a three-night stay.

This island holds deep Christian significance — it is here that the Apostle Paul was shipwrecked (Acts 28). Walk in the footsteps of early Christianity while enjoying Malta’s warm hospitality.

Day 3 – Valletta, Harbor Cruise & St. Thomas Bay

Explore Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing over 7,000 years of history.

Highlights include:

  • John’s Co-Cathedral – Home to priceless masterpieces and stunning Baroque architecture.
  • Stories of the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem, defenders of Christian Europe.
  • A scenic cruise of Grand Harbour, often described as the most beautiful natural harbor in the Mediterranean.

Continue to St. Thomas Bay, traditionally associated with the shipwreck of St. Paul.

Day 4 – Mdina, Mosta, Rabat & Dingli Cliffs

A full day exploring Malta’s biblical and historical landmarks:

  • Mdina – Malta’s first capital, offering breathtaking panoramic views.
  • Paul’s Grotto – Built over the cave where Paul is believed to have stayed.
  • Dingli Cliffs – Dramatic coastal scenery.
  • Mosta Rotunda – Famous for one of Europe’s largest unsupported domes.
  • Catacombs of St. Paul – Early Christian burial chambers dating to the 3rd century AD.

Day 5 – Arrive in Cyprus

Fly to Larnaca and transfer to your seaside hotel. Cyprus is deeply connected to the ministries of Paul and Barnabas. Enjoy dinner and an evening at leisure.

Day 6 – Paphos

Explore this UNESCO-listed city, once the Roman capital of Cyprus.

Highlights include:

  • Pillar of St. Paul – Where Paul was traditionally flogged.
  • Ancient Roman mosaics (3rd century AD).
  • Tombs of the Kings – Monumental underground necropolis.
  • Monastery of St. Neophytos – Featuring remarkable medieval frescoes.

Day 7 – Salamis & Larnaca

Visit Biblical Salamis, where Paul and Barnabas began their ministry (Acts 13:5).

  • Roman ruins and the Monastery of St. Barnabas
  • Panagia Angeloktisti – 6th-century church
  • Church of Saint Lazarus – Traditional tomb of Lazarus

Enjoy free time along Larnaca’s palm-lined promenade before dinner.

Day 11 – Arrive in Rome & Ostia Antica

Arrive in Rome and begin exploring ancient Ostia Antica, once Rome’s thriving port city. Walk among preserved streets, forum, theater, and the Gate of St. Paul.

Day 12 – Ancient Rome

Discover the heart of the Roman Empire:

  • Roman Forum
  • Mamertine Prison (traditional site of Paul’s imprisonment)
  • Colosseum
  • Trevi Fountain
  • Pantheon
  • Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls
  • Scala Sancta

Day 13 – Vatican City & Early Christian Rome

Visit Vatican City:

  • Peter’s Basilica
  • Vatican Museums
  • Sistine Chapel

Continue to:

  • Abbey of the Three Fountains – Traditional site of Paul’s martyrdom
  • Early Christian Catacombs

Day 14 – Assisi & Florence

Travel through Umbria to Assisi.

Visit:

  • Basilica of San Francesco d’Assisi – Renowned for its magnificent frescoes.

Continue to Florence for a two-night stay.

Day 15 – Florence

Highlights include:

  • Piazza della Signoria
  • The Duomo & Baptistry
  • Accademia Gallery – Home to Michelangelo’s David
  • Scenic overlook across the Arno River
  • Ponte Vecchio

Day 16 – Pisa & Verona

Continue to romantic Verona, famed setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Overnight in Venice Mestre.

Travel by private boat along the Giudecca Canal.
