DAY 1

Day 1 – Amman

Welcome to Amman — a vibrant capital blending modern life with ancient history.

If arriving early, consider visiting:

  • Amman Citadel for panoramic city views
  • The Jordan Museum, home to the Dead Sea Scrolls
  • Roman Theatre of Amman

Evening at leisure.

DAY 2

Day 2 – Aqaba & Wadi Rum

Depart Amman for Aqaba, Jordan’s only coastal city on the Red Sea.

Enjoy a guided walk through the markets and beachfront promenade. Free time allows for optional snorkeling, shopping, or relaxing by the sea.

Continue to the UNESCO-listed Wadi Rum. Arrive at your Bedouin camp in time for a traditional dinner cooked in an underground earthen oven (zarb).

Overnight in desert camp.

DAY 3

Day 3 – Wadi Rum Desert Experience

Wake to sunrise over the desert and set out on a 3–4 hour guided hike (approx. 12–15 km). Climb towering sand dunes for panoramic valley views and pause for tea and lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling 4WD jeep safari through Wadi Rum’s dramatic sandstone landscapes.

Dinner and overnight at camp.

DAY 4

Day 4 – Petra Guided Tour

Travel by 4WD to the main entrance of Petra, opposite the Seven Pillars of Wisdom

On a guided tour, walk through the narrow Siq canyon and emerge before the iconic Treasury (Al Khazneh). Spend the afternoon exploring temples, tombs, and ancient facades of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Please note: Petra requires significant walking; moderate fitness is recommended.

Overnight in Petra.

DAY 5

Day 5 – Petra at Leisure

Enjoy a full free day to explore Petra at your own pace.

Options include:

  • The Roman road and amphitheater
  • Royal tombs
  • Smaller temples and high viewpoints
  • Additional trails to panoramic overlooks

DAY 6

Day 6 – Kerak, Dead Sea, Mount Nebo & Madaba

Travel the historic King’s Highway to Kerak Castle, a dramatic crusader fortress overlooking Wadi Karak.

Continue to the Dead Sea — the lowest point on earth — for a relaxing float and optional mineral mud bath.

Visit Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land.

Arrive in Madaba, famous for its Byzantine mosaics, including the sixth-century Holy Land map at St. George’s Church, Madaba.

Overnight in Madaba.

DAY 7

Day 7 – Jerash & Return to Madaba

Travel to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world.

Explore:

  • Hadrian’s Arch
  • The Oval Plaza
  • Colonnaded streets
  • South Amphitheatre
  • Ancient baths and fountains

Return to Madaba for your final evening. Celebrate your journey with local cuisine or traditional shisha.

Day 8 – Departure

Your journey concludes after breakfast in Madaba.
